This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Quality Engineer with Modular Lighting Instruments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Quality assurance & analysis | As a high end lighting manufacturer our quality standards are very strict & our performance lies above the competition. As the quality engineer you play a key role to make this happen. You monitor quality performance metrics, define inspection test methods for materials & processes to ensure specifications are met accordingly quality control systems (ISO 9001)

Communication & Collaboration | Quality can only be assured if all stakeholders are aligned & collaborating well. Through your excellent stakeholder management & good communication skills you enable cross-functional collaboration internal & externally to resolve quality issues. In addition, based on internal feedback or supplier feedback, you investigate & execute supplier corrective action requests. When necessary, you are present on site with the partner/installer to support.

New product development | You are an essential stakeholder in the FMEA process and provide your expertise through all steps of the product development process till release. Once the product is launched, you process market feedback and use these learnings to improve new product development & existing processes.

Critical Experiences

3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related role in a production/manufacturing environment.
Highly skilled & extensive knowledge of FMEA & ISO 9001 methodologies. Knowledge of other AIAG core tools is a benefit.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, moulding, assembly, extrusion, anodization, coatings, ....), interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Good electrical knowledge, BA4 / BA5 certification is a plus
Proficient in statistical analysis and using data to identify trends (e.g., Excel, SAP).
You are at your best when you need to find solutions. Proactiveness and able to manage autonomously your time is key. Willingness to travel (1x quarter) to visit supplier sites.
Fluent Dutch & English is a must
