Mechanical Engineer
The environment
The Mechanical Equipment Department is in charge of the following tasks:
mechanical equipment and Nuclear fuel Supply
quality Surveillance-Supplier and Repair Qualification
in Service Inspection and Ageing Management
fuel Quality control and handling
expertise in mechanical components
Your function
As a member of a team, you will be in charge of the following activities in close relation with the Project Managers (PM) and the Customers :
purchase of mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, piping, handling equipment, …)
preparation of the documents - Technical Requisition File, General Documents, …
for call for tenders
review and analysis of the supplier’s bids;
support in the technical and commercial negotiations with the suppliers;
follow-up of the contract
manufacturing follow-up of mechanical equipments in close cooperation with the quality surveillance section and with the Customers
assisting the PM and the Customers in meetings and technical discussions with the
Belgian Nuclear Safety Authorities
Qualifications
y
ou are a Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer with experience in the industrial energy or engineering sector
you
have good language skills : English, Dutch, French
you have interest in design, manufacturing and site operation activities
you have a good knowledge in materials, components manufacturing and maintenance is an asset
your are well organized, assertive, accurate and strict
you are able
to write & analyze draft reports and synthesis documents
you have hood computer skills (excel, access, …) and interest for economic analyses
