For one of the world's leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of emission control and ride control products and systems for the automotive original equipment market and the aftermarket, we are looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER.
FUNCTION
As Project Engineer, you have a solid knowledge and experience in your technical field. You are responsible for the development of damping systems and components (hydraulic and/or electro-hydraulic) for suspension systems. These development projects, driven by external or internal customer leads, can be new developments, cost reductions, standardization,...
As Project Engineer, you will take the lead on major projects. You act as a consultant within your technical field.
Verwacht:
You have a Master degree in (Electro)Mechanical Engineering. As Project Engineer, you have at least 4 years of relevant technical experience, preferably in the automotive industry. You are fluent in English and Dutch and you have working knowledge of German and French. You have a strong background in mechanical design and/or hydraulics, experience with electromechanical systems is an asset. You are willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis to visit customers abroad. Knowledge about materials is an asset and you are able to use or willing to learn statistical DFSS tools. You have experience with planning tools like MS Project of the willingness to learn those tools.
