What is an IP Basics ?

It is a basic course that goes over the basic principles of Patent and Trademark law, given by 2 experts: Jurgen Duyver and Benjamin Gevers.

Further, it provides a look into our company, way of working and culture.

Summarized: it provides a comprehensive overview of IP law + an insight into our company.

What does it mean to be a Patent or Trademark Attorney? How does one protect an idea? What can you register as a trademark? What does the job entail? And what does it mean to work at Gevers?

All these questions and more will be answered.

Modules

  • Part 1: 1 hour of online videos to be watched before the live event
  • Part 2: day of: 2 hours of live sessions (1 hour patents, 1 hour trademarks) + 1 hour of Q&A
