Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, which includes the preparation of journal entries and monthly reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly account balance reconciliations
  • Assist with treasury, operating expense, and related party accounting
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly analytics and fluctuation analyses
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Work with and support the Accounting Manager
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for both internal and external audit requests
  • Assist in other areas of accounting and ad hoc projects as needed


Essential Requirements

  • Currently pursuing, or close to completing, a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
  • Positive, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous accounting experience is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
  • Experience in procurement, accounts payable (AP), and/or payroll processes is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CA, or progress toward obtaining them, are considered a strong advantage.
