The management staff here are lacking professionalism. I would go in at 530am and by the time our 10min break comes by the managers are telling their employees some may take a break some may not because they didnt work as much as they wanted for the managers likeing

This store is great for people on a tight budget. it is not however the best place to work. The store isn't always clean, the bathrooms are very bad and sometimes the workers aren't that friendly. I had a terrible manager when I worked there.

Pretty fast paced if you stay busy doing something and not standing around behind the register. A lot of the people that come in are regulars so you build a friendship with a lot of new and cool people.

I worked as a stoker mostly early mornings we would sometimes have an overnight if it was before a big holiday or something. I found stocking the store to not only be enjoyable but relaxing there was not really a set planogram so it was nice being able to actually move things were they look most appealing. The pay for sure could have been better but in all honesty it was a very easy job and minimum wage seems fit.

A typical day at work is always a hard day at work of course because of the business we get each and everyday. I learned the basic for working at a retail store but the management is pretty professional because of the store manger and how he mange the store overall. The hardest part for working for the Dollar Tree is that we normally don't have a full staff working all the time and the store normally gets busy all the time because of the pricing of every item in the store.

I liked working at dollar tree it was nice everyone there respected each other it was just kind of cluttered because there were always shipments and we never really had enough room for it all but other wise it was a nice job.

Semi good job for some to pay some bills, really. Sometimes it was slow and sometimes it was fast. It depended on the days and the months. But sometimes, you'd get those rowdy customers who like to argue with you, yet you still have to 'kill them with kindness' because that's all you could really do.

I enjoy working for my boss at dollar tree, it's a great work experience, but the company needs improvement. Can never get in touch with our district manager. Had to go out and buy our own refrigator and microwave for the break room.

I would come in review the assignment sheet for the day to see what I had to do. Then I would proceed by doing the biggest tasks first. After that it would be time for break, after break I would finish the smaller tasks. Most of the time I did not work enough hours for a lunch, so after I finished I would clock out for the day.The hardest part of my job was unloading a truck, I usually had to do it by myself. The most enjoyable part of my job was helping customers.

Work schedule is all over the place. Although it's better than having no job at all, I'm curious about the schedule for other employees. I wonder if anyone has any sort of consistency to their schedule. Also why it is that way.

The area was a bad area and people always use to steal. There was no security so they use to get away with all and any merchandise. People would come to that store everyday and they would steal anything they could get they hands on
