Interesting and varied tasks
Product Implementer Home Services (Former Employee) –  Brussel26 August 2018
A typical day at work at Engie is spent with a lot of meetings and discussions. It is highly important to spend time in discussing with people in order to get their onboarding. As the structure and organization is complex, communication is key.
The management type of this group is pretty hierarchical, even though this is going to change in the future and there are many initiatives inspired by holacracy in order to give more empowerment to employees.
Pros
Interesting content, pilot projects based on holacracy, challenges, nice colleagues and ambition
Cons
Long hours, less opportunities to use my languages

ENGIE is a great company to work for with numerous opportunities to move around the world or change focus. THE work culture is very professional but fun at the same time.
