Depending on who is your boss and what the opportunities are, you might end up with very interesting tasks or with a very dull job with no perspectives.
Management is more focused on internal politics than on anything else and there is very little attention paid to developing (or even using properly) the talent present in the company. There are no talent programs for people who are not fresh-graduates.
Promotions and salary increases are hard to get, so what you earn is highly related to how well you negotiated in the beginning, even years after.
Hero mentality dominates over collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
That being said, there are some wonderful colleagues and a good work/life balance is not hard to maintain.
