Planning weekly budget of promotions. Negotiations of contracts and volumes. Weekly price setting based on price changes of competitors. Invoice follow up. Great team, wanting to deliver the best. Grow Lidl together. Inter team competition, so sometimes tensions.
This was my first job. I have a master's degree in business communication and worked in the action management department as a junior consultant. Everyone in this department earns the same amount, when they evaluate, they give everyone 2 stars out of 5, so they don't have to give anyone a raise. The colleagues here change jobs very quickly. They last a maximum of 2 years due to the high workload, the reproaches and the threats. The team leader psychologically blackmails you into saying that only they will give you a chance. That you are only worth something in life with a degree in economics and not communication or logistics. There is no room for a life of your own, only lidl counts. "Nobody will do your job for you". Diabetes or death of a father are no reasons for the teamleader to be absent. If you achieve something well, the team leader says it is to her credit. When an error happens, she declines responsibility and blames you. She likes to hand out tasks and pass them off. She also lies to management and tries to undermine your credibility. The HR confidential advisor is aware of this and 6 people have already resigned because of this team leader, yet she is still there after 5 years. The workload is very high, on Friday evening you get a task that has to be completed on Monday. They have no patience or understanding. Every employee sooner or later bursts into tears. The team leader also likes to play colleagues against each other. She likes competition. The team leaders were both placed in a managerial position much too early. The atmosphere is awful.
Good on your CV
long hours, no work life balance, stress, awful atmosphere
Ik ben heel tevreden over dit bedrijf. Ik werk op de klantendienst. Met periodes erg druk, maar heel tevreden over de job, salaris, extra legale voordelen, enz. De communicatie is eerlijk en open. Correcte betaling.
The first company that took me, everyone was kind, open hearted. Instead of asking what your current skillset was, they more focussed on what Lidl could teach YOU to make you a better person & working force. All in general when you work for several years at this place, your experience converges into a family feeling more than you're being thrown into a cubicle.
Kind co-workers, honest, very high job security.
German strict rules and guidelines.
We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best!
