Mission

Based on a thorough understanding of the consumer, the brand, its market and competition, recommend and execute a strategy and action plan to achieve the agreed objectives of the assigned portfolio in terms of volumes, market share and profitability

  • By ensuring clear understanding of the drivers and inhibitors of the portfolio’s performance
  • By driving excellent execution of the agreed support plan & recommending amendments to the plan as appropriate to drive stronger performance
  • By building existing range via maintenance and renovation of the base, refreshing & extending as appropriate with relevant new products and concepts
  • By identifying new opportunities to drive the portfolio through a clear understanding of the consumer, competition and trade.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing manager in developing the brand strategy & plans. Delivering necessary consumer, competition & trade understanding, concept development, product introductions and media & communication plan for assigned portfolio. Drive alignment with overall brand strategy and plans of consumer, medical & trade marketing teams to achieve portfolio KPIs.
  • Financial / brand performance – Monitor & report portfolio performance and manage portfolio A&P expenditure vs forecast on monthly basis. Analyse effectiveness of executed plan & competitor activity, derive learning and recommend plan modifications to optimise performance against objectives.
  • Marcoms development – Develop communication plans to most effectively reach and drive consumer behaviour. Ensure agreed plan execution in most appropriate channels on time & on budget. Continually monitor performance of key communication channels: ATL & BTL media, web, eCRM, online & inserts. Recommend plan modifications to optimise performance against objectives. Manage process & approvals to ensure timely & on-budget execution.
  • Agency Management – Build strong, productive relationship with agency partners to ensure excellent proposal and delivery against strategy and agreed activity objectives.
  • CRM – Work closely with CRM Manager to ensure integrated plans and ensure best in class consumer brand experience that really drives performance of assigned portfolio.
REQUESTED PROFRSSIONAL EXPERIENCE ?

You hold a master degree level ideally in Marketing/Economics or other business orientation background; a post-master is considered as an advantage

You have 3-4 years experience in brand marketing in a FMCG company

You are fluent in Dutch and French, good knowledge of English

You have a good knowledge of Nielsen, GfK, MS Office (proficient Excel), SAP utilization is an advantage

You have strong analytical & presentation skills

You have the drive & a winner mentality

You have strong interpersonal skills

You are able to work with cross-functional teams & promote it

You have Leadership & Team Management skills
