Position Overview:
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the local Benelux Marketing team as Digital Activation Manager. You will be part of a highly passionate, inspirational and skilled team working on some of the world’s biggest brands.

Job summary:
As Digital Activation Manager, you will be responsible defining and implementing the Digital plans to develop the brands and the corporate image in Benelux in close collaboration with the NWEN Digital Team. In addition you will implement and amplify the BU Digital communication and activation plans, manage the local web sites and crisis management process in coordination with the communications team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Build a robust understanding of the digital landscape and competitive environment
  • Work very closely with the NWEN digital Team to influence the Digital strategy and import best practices from other markets
  • Build and Develop value-based relationship with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the local digital environment
  • Build the digital development, implementation and amplification of all marketing programs (Charters), in close collaboration with the NWEN Digital and Brands Teams, and the local Activation Managers
  • Lead the local implementation of the Loyalty program
  • Develop joint Digital programs with our bottler and their key customers, in the area of CRM and promotions to manage more directly the relationship with our consumers
  • Develop and manage the local brands and corporate websites, and contribute to build strong and positive brands and corporate image on Digital, leveraging the most appropriate Digital agencies
  • Ensure in-depth understanding and tracking of competition and customers’ Digital strategy and activities
  • Take a lead role in leveraging Digital in the area of crisis management in close collaboration with the Communications team
  • Take part to the overall cross system content strategy
  • Select and manage Digital agencies locally (can be global and/or local)
  • Tracks and measure impact of plans
  • Ensures continuous improvement of ROI and DMI efficiency
  • Coaching of two junior digital managers
  • You would be spending 1 day a week in our Rotterdam office
Background & Experience Required

A digital native with a minimum of 5 years in (Digital) marketing roles ideally from an agency, a FMCG company or a media company

Solid understanding of Digital landscape in Benelux

Strong project management skills

Ability to manage agency relations

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Influencing at a cross functional / senior level with credibility

Dutch or French mother tongue and fluent vice versa, fluent in English
