Digital Brand Manager South Europe




Full job description

As Digital Brand Manager for South Europe, you will be working on some key countries where we work with distributing and marketing partners. You make sure that the international digital strategy & content is locally implemented in the different countries. You manage & coordinate the local implementation of several digital content & media projects, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.

  • You support the Marketing Manager in developing & executing the digital strategy in the different countries by understanding the local marketing needs & translating them into the digital plan, in close collaboration with de digital team of Alpro headquarters and with the marketeers of the local partners in the countries.
  • You coordinate and execute digital campaigns in the countries. Starting from the briefing, defining the consumer flow and follow up the full media process and you guarantee to achieve media targets as define in the digital plan.
  • You manage the process of community management by executing the existing content plan & identifying new opportunities on existing fora, social profiles or discussion websites.
  • You evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of digital activation by using several analytic tools (Engagor, Google Analytics, internal scorecards, etc).
  • You deliver and monitor a consumer-centric marketing website by country, respecting the brand equity of Alpro and understanding & translating the specific needs of local marketers. You manage the roll-out (translations, packs, …) of all new content from the international team and you propose new content development for the international marketing team.
  • Acting as an expert in digital, you understand how digital is contributing to the total marketing plan. Furthermore, you inspire your team colleagues and spread insights considering digital marketing within the team.

About you
  • You combine a Communication or Marketing degree with a first meaningful experience in managing marketing projects, preferably digital B2C marketing activations. Having worked in an international FMCG context on the advertiser side is a must.
  • You are an active user of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, …).
  • You have knowledge of Google Analytics and a community management tool.
  • You have a learning attitude towards with applications, conversations and you closely following the evolutions in digital media.
  • You are a strong communicator and you have strong project management skills, taking full responsibility for every milestone and finishing a project in time and on budget.
  • You have the right attitude: you are an assertive spokesperson for the team, able to challenge with respect towards headquarters and towards colleagues within a partner business model.
  • You enjoy the richness and the complexity of working in a multi-country business.
  • You are fluent in English and French. Given the importance of the French market in the country portfolio, it is more than recommended to have some active affinity/interest with the French culture and consumer media.
