The Supply Chain itself comprises all end-to-end activities from Net Demand Planning to Customer Service. We produce and move each year more than 4 billion consumer units in our own or third party manufacturing locations world-wide, serving more than 10.000 customer drop points at a time. In this thrilling area of profession, we are offering a 3 to 6 months long internship to highly motivated and talented students, who would like to gain insights into the daily work of an international FMCG company.
What we offer
To gain experience in the field of supply chain and customer service in the exciting sector of Fast Moving Consumer Goods:
Follow-up of the whole promotion trajectory (quotes and realised sales);
Maintain strong contacts with people from the other cells within our Customer Service department (Master Data, Action Development, Order Entry), as well as with our other departments (Sales and Marketing);
Provide support & follow-up within our systems (open purchase orders & deliveries);
Bring points of improvements;
Link experience & learnings of promotion's follow-up to a project or thesis.
Who we are looking for
Strong personality with the will to succeed, enthusiasm, dynamism, and creativity;
Teamplayer who thinks in terms of solutions, is able to work independently and is driven by results;
Academic degree in economics with a strong interest in logistics and supply chain in the field of Fast Moving Consumer Goods;
Analytical skills, sense for accuracy, perfectly able to work in Microsoft Excel;
Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and English;
Available for 6 months as of January 2014.
