Main Purpose of the Role

The function consists of two defining roles. The Jr Brand Manager OOH is to be the Brand owner of Mountain Dew. On top of this, the function is to take the lead & ownership in several OOH related marketing topics for all brands (Juices, CSD, Food). The Jr Brand Manager has to act as the key contact person for sponsoring deals such as Summerfestival & Laundryday as well as other events.

The Jr Brand Manager OOH will be responsible for the implementation of different marketing activities concerning the full Pepsico portfolio in the Belux market within the out-of-home channel, he/she will coordinate activations within our key events & OOH customers.
This includes a.o. promotional & launch plans, budget follow-up, data gathering, tracking and evaluation.

He/She will ensure to perfect execution in the different channels.

He/she will actively contribute to the OOH marketing meetings in helping prepare regular updates on OOH performances with deep dive in available data.

Furthermore, the function holder should respect, implement and sustain the PepsiCo Values and Code of Conduct


Day to Day Brand & Project Management

Implement Marketing Plans and execute with excellence (within timing, budget and delivering KPI's) in conjunction with his/her line manager for his/her different brands in the OOH market.

For each project that has to be implemented, manage local Marketing Agencies (Promotion, Research, pack Design).

Recommend, implement and control brand and/or channel specific marketing activities under the Brand manager's supervision.

Implement brand building activities at specific customers (eg coordination events, brand activation, communication, POS material, channel relevant PR plans) within the allocated budget and within timings and gather channel insights information. (fe in different channels such as Pizzahut, Subway & others).

Analyse available data, track performance and analyse activities

If relevant, take the lead in development of OOH specific pack design, including taking the lead in the radar process.

Specific activities

Manage, coordinate and follow-up the A&M budget for each activity. Ensure regular budget checks with the Brand Manager.

Ensure functional control over local agencies (media/promo/research/pack design). Brief them with excellence, develop with excellence, and ensure regular verification in the field.

Continuously increase consumer, shopper and category insights.

Give support to the Brand manager by providing the necessary input on promotion, activation, OOH results and deeply analyse activities using the available data (Ex fact, Canadean and Ad hoc research,…)

Key Skills/Experience Required

Master degree (Business School/Marketing school) or equivalent through experience

Experience in Marketing FMCG for min 3 years

Good negotiation skills

Strong analytical skills; experience with Canadean, and Nielsen is a strong asset

Time Management skills

Experience in Out-of-home channel marketing or sales environment is a plus

Experience in Marketing Agencies Management (briefing/control).

Good Communication skills

Multilanguage Dutch French English

Computers Literate (PowerPoint/excel/word, internet …)

Good team player with commercial attitude (ready to help)

Result oriented/Problem solving character
