For a major player in FMCG, with strong brands and a worldwide presence, we are looking for an experienced KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER with a proven track record

Responsabilities
  • Personal Key account management of the top 3 food retailers in Belgium
  • Indirect management with final responsibility of other F1/F2 retailers
and other channels through coaching of a Junior Key Account Manager
  • Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with the decision
makers within the clients organisations
  • Building ands implementing account plans
  • Development of market share, shelf space and brand visibility
  • Category management projects
  • Management of budgets and assets to ensure that resources are used in the
most efficient way
  • Negotiation of annual contracts with the clients
  • Briefing of and collaboration with field sales teams
  • Analysis of activities in the field in order to make optimal future investment
decision
  • Collate and analyse business intelligence data and translate these in
a strategic approach
  • Periodic business reviews between the respective top teams
Requirements
  • Proven track record in key account management
  • People management skills
  • Experience in/knowledge of shopper marketing, category management,
trade marketing
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Field experience
  • Budget and P&L responsibility
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strategic view
  • Strong knowledge of Nielsen e.o. business intelligence data
  • Proactif, takes initiative
