Nielsen Global Services is a commercial business unit within Nielsen with aim to unlock Nielsen's potential across technology, data content, harmonization and data processes to better deliver against our clients’ above market needs and build on our competitive advantage. Our Global Track Suite of services provides state of the art tools, applications and processes designed to efficiently extract insight from single and multiple data sources and create actionable information for use across markets. A team of Account Managers will service and drive the high demand for above market reporting and harmonization solutions through our GT(Global Track) suite of services.

The Global Services Europe team is currently looking for a Key Account Manager, to anticipate to the growing demand of GT portfolio solutions. The person will be based in Belgium and report to the Commercial Director France & Belgium, who is based in Cergy, France.

The Job

Service regular Global Track internationally oriented clients

Increase Global Track revenues from existing and potential Nielsen customers.

Engage with clients to promote Business Intelligence solutions

Main responsibilities include

Manage account activities to drive client value.

Achieve / exceed sales objectives and targets through leveraging the GT suite portfolio.

Works closely with International client teams and local commercial departments to encourage and help them to sell GT services to their clients.

Identifies opportunities for Nielsen to sell new GT services to a broad range of existing clients / prospects.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration (or similar)

At least 5+ years’ experience from working with FMCG (from a sales, marketing or purchase function)

Strong negotiation and sales skills. Good at building long term relationships with clients.

Strong business and financial acumen

Has a pro-active positive attitude, and has an enthusiastic mindset

An interest in working in an international environment

An independent self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills, very driven and results orientated.

Business Intelligence experience is a must. Experience from working with Nielsen’s software is an advantage.

Fluent in English (verbal and written) Good knowledge of Dutch and French . Any other foreign languages are an advantage.
