Marketing Manager Benelux

RESPONSIBILITIES ?

The MM is responsible for a number of brands across the Personal Care Category and across 3 markets (Belgium, NL, Lux) –lead the brand strategies and plans, managing a marketing team of 4 people and working closely with sales and trade marketing to ensure flawless in market execution to drive profitable brand growth.

1. Flawless execution of initiatives (new product launches, new brand growth strategies, brand relaunches):

a) Timely launch plot of all activities across the brands

b) Strong activation plot and optimal ongoing support of the above (right media plot/ copy/ optimal promo plan). Particular focus on the optimal copy strategy– ensure quick turnaround of copy analysis so no time is wasted and right copy is used.

c) Promo optimization – drive a range (including pricing and sizing) and promo strategy that will help to drive the market share in all accounts in a profitable way.

2. Finalise and get senior management approval on next year’s brand plans and activities

a) Analyse the last 12 month brand performance and ensure that clear learnings are logged.

b) Challenge and revise the brand strategy and growth model

c) Finalise the new product launches, 4P strategy, Copy/ Media plan, in store activation plots for following year

3. Regional Involvement:
a) Ensure quality input to the regional marketing meetings and best in class representation of Benelux. Challenge any strategic misalignment and provide local data to support.

b) Streamline the process for data input to reduce the time pressure on the team

c) Use the regional structure to share learnings and to provide ideas for future growth within Benelux, implement any learnings from other countries speedily

4. Marketing Spends Efficiency:
a) Regular media ROI analysis. Fast implementation of ROI analysis to ensure optimal copy and media plan.

b) Ensure respect of the media flowchart process

c) Ensuring an accurate forecasting process for portfolio of brands

5. Coach, manage, and develop a team of BMs, JBMs, & interns to deliver the brand plans and activities and ensure a strong pipeline of talent.

REQUESTED PROFRSSIONAL EXPERIENCE ?

Personal qualities and skills

  • You have strong brand management experience and proven financial acumen.
  • At least 6 years of experience ideally with a strong FMCG background.
  • A first experience in people management is a plus.
  • Your main qualities are strong intellectual thinking, autonomous working style, focus on results and strong personal drive. You will need to speak fluent English plus as a minimum you will need to be fluent in either Dutch or French (ideally both).
