Process Lead Creams and Make-up
Analytic and hands-on Project Manager

Your function : • This function provides process engineering leadership at local plant level (Oevel) for driving any formula-related changes for creams and make-up into the supply chain. • A key part of this role is to enable and further develop the Company’s Excellence in Batch Execution capability within the Oevel plant. • This role also includes championing the need for new processing equipment where necessary and then supporting the implementation accordingly (in conjunction with site engineering function). • Help to define the success criteria required for successful start-up and ongoing production. • Pro-actively provide input upfront on process and equipment requirements that reflect Oevel plant capability. • Work hand in hand with the Research and Development Centre colleagues to develop an understanding of related new manufacturing processes. • Act as a liaison between the local production organization and R&D Centre. • Qualify and implement savings and efficiency projects, e.g. raw material simplification and standardisation, process optimisation, use of alternative vessels (PVs), using appropriate qualification systems, success criteria and documentation. • Facilitate cross-plant knowledge sharing and problem solving. • Help to define and deploy process training programmes to compounders. Minimum 5 years comprehensive experience in deployment of new product
innovation and/or process optimisation within the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industry, and preferably within the Cosmetics industry. • Minimum master degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant experience in Chemical Engineering. • Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Be able to effectively engage with other functions in and outside the plant and be comfortable reporting to dual line managers within a matrixed organisation. • Experience in people management and
coaching skills. • Good analytical / problem solving skills. • Hands-on and strong observation skills. • Efficiently manage workload and priorities. • Be able to work independently. • Strong communication skills. • Fluent in English and Dutch. • Travel requirement is 10%
