As Sales Manager France/Spain, you manage and build strong relationships with the assigned local business partner and its organization for France and Spain, where Alpro operates through exclusive distributors.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Business Development: identify, create and realize business opportunities together with the customers within de assigned countries.
  • Target definition & planning, resource allocation (budget included): manage and allocate effectively the assigned budgets and resources.
  • Customer Development Plan: develop, implement and monitor the CDP’s in order to achieve the sales & profitability targets.
  • Marketing and Category Alignment: define and implement pricing tactics, promos, product portfolio; negotiations with buyers via the local sales business partners.
  • Networking / Customer Management: build and maintain sustainable relationships across different functions with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as an internal SPOC / Advice / Collaboration: take the end responsibility in the order to cash process and provide continuous feedback to the divisional marketing and customer service teams.
  • Business Analysis / Data Management & Reporting: collect, compile and analyse relevant market data on trade spend, distribution, fair share, profit runs, folder share, prices, total account penetration.

About you
  • Master degree, preferably in business economics;
  • 3 to 5 years sales and or marketing experience within the FMCG-sector;
  • Knowledge of market research data such as Nielsen, GfK is a must;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to build, maintain and develop long term relations and partnerships; intellectual
and social flexibility to manage different kinds of customers;

  • International and multicultural mindset and adaptability;
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can work autonomously:
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English, written as well as oral; knowledge of Spanish is a must
  • Flexibility to travel 30% of time (high frequency of short trips); high autonomy to
determine the agenda.
