The Job
Royal Canin is looking to appoint a Sales Manager for the Veterinary channel in Belux . The Sales Manager will manage a team of sales representatives. Each salesrep is responsible for the development of the sales through their network of veterinary practices in their geographical area.

Leading by example and obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through sales creativity, motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
Developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the company’s presence throughout Belgium and Luxembourg
Planning, recruiting, organizing and managing the sales representatives to accomplish ambitious objectives
Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, …
The required profile
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled sales manager that comes from an innovative large company and can bring in best practices in sales and new sales techniques. The candidate can come from the FMCG, food or pharmaceutical sector. Direct sales experience is required and knowledge in digital media and new technologies is an asset. Fluency in Dutch, French and English is a must. An entrepreneurial and business-oriented mind-set is required. The candidate needs to show good interpersonal skills, be dynamic and flexible.
