Senior Manager Procurement – Direct Packaging
An exciting opportunity exists within CCE’s Direct Procurement Team to take ownership of a key category. You will report to the Associate Director Strategic Procurement. your main responsibilities are focussed on development and execute category strategies in order to:
- Control and limit exposure to price volatility
- Drive CRS developments and improvements through the supply base to support CCE goals
- Identify and deliver category projects to drive cost and CRS benefits
- Ensure security and quality of supply
Key Deliverables:
Optimal Cost Management
- Category strategies documented and on target for delivery
- Incorporating Risk Management strategy
- Benchmarked against industry
- Spend leveraged at the optimal level with the best Procurement tools
- Accurate and timely reporting
- Compliance with Contract and Chart of Authority processes
- Exceed category material avoidance target
- Reduce carbon fooprint within supply base through Carbon Challenge initiative
- Increase level of recyclable/recycled materials
- Identify further CRS pipeline opportunities
- Category specific projects identified and delivered
- Flexible capacity is explicit in contract & reviewed annually
- No line stoppages
- Stakeholder feedback on support received
- Supplier quality scores improved
- Supplier Risk managed through use of Risk Process where appropriate
- Take lead responsibility across Direct Procurement for a specific area such as
- A key process like SRM
- Liaison with a key stakeholder group such as Supplier QESH or Material Supply
- Procurement System development (Spend Analysis or SAP Sourcing)
- Training curriculum for the team
- Measured through
- The formation and delivery of a plan for the year
- Stakeholder and peer feedback
- Self-managed, regularly reviewed, Personal Development Plan
- Degree calibre
- 7 years Procurement experience, preferably in international FMCG packaging environment, required to lead this category
- Languages required: Fluent English essential, proficiency in other European languages (French, Dutch) an advantage
- You are a strategic thinker
- You have Excellent communication skills (able to influence at a senior level)
- Evidence of negotiating complex, high volume contracts
- Demonstrate the capacity to evaluate issues analytically and commercially
- Strong project and change management skills
